<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br />
To assure optimal and safe utilization of existing producing and terminal facilities for enhanced oil and gas production by facilities / process optimization and surveillance engineering activities.</p>
<p>The surveillance &amp; optimisation team works with its production operations customers to enhance oil &amp; gas production and deliver highest return on investment from their hydrocarbon opportunities by:</p>
<p>- Identifying and selecting the optimum facilities concept by working in and leading integrated discipline/business teams.<br />
- Optimising the asset performance/maintain asset integrity throughout its lifetime.<br />
- Finding innovative and cost effective engineering solutions that are integrated into the TECOP spectrum,to unlock reserves and to optimise and improve production capacities of the surface facilities.</p>
<p><strong>Other responsibilities include:</strong></p>
<p>1. Provide front-line engineering support to Operations &amp; Maintenance for all producing assets and terminals to ensure reduction in production deferments and optimal utilization of surface facilities.<br />
2. Proactively monitor and plan surface intervention by surveillance teams; monitor operating performance to ensure optimized performance of producing facilities and asset integrity.<br />
3. Establish and maintain operating envelops and limit diagrams for all producing facilities and terminal in order to ensure optimal and safe use of facilities.<br />
4. Build and maintain process models (UNISIM,PIPESIM,GAP etc.) for all producing facilities and terminals where required,to ensure production optimization and availability of design data.<br />
5. Undertake process &amp; optimization studies for assets as and when required.<br />
6. Ensure full time participation by surveillance &amp; optimization engineers in Asset WRM activities to maximize production from existing facilities.<br />
7. Ensure optimized and safe use of existing producing facilities by proposing modifications in hard ware or process,where necessary. Manage resistance to change in complying with operating limits within recommended envelops by asset operations.<br />
8. Facilitate,review,and assist asset operations &amp; maintenance to secure approvals for Technical Change Requests to ensure technical and safety integrity of all producing facilities and terminal are maintained.<br />
9. Carry out reviews of existing facilities to maximize throughput of hydrocarbons and propose modifications required to meet production targets and comply with HSE objectives.<br />
10. Optimise process flow schemes,which maximize the product yield and economic performance of facilities whilst achieving HSE objectives based on the ALARP concept.<br />
11. Carry out periodic review of assets as part of surveillance activities to ensure that producing facilities meet stipulated minimum functional requirements and Process safety.<br />
12. Carry out surface facilities and production systems surveillance engineering activities to ensure updated facilities database and technical integrity of all producing facilities.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
A University degree preferably in chemical / mechanical engineering. A minimum of 10 years experience in process / facilities eng.</p>
<p>Knowledge of simulation tools e.g., UNISIM, IPSM-GAP, PIPESIM, etc.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br />
The Senior Project Pipeline Engineer is accountable for leading a team of engineers who provide pipeline engineering and operations / maintenance expertise for all phases of design and execution in terms of concept selection,development of basis for design through construction,commissioning and start-up of pipeline projects.</p>
<p><strong>Other responsibilities include:</strong><br />
• Provide technical expertise and technical review capabilities in the area of Pipeline engineering for oil and gas projects and operations; these can be onshore as well as offshore.<br />
• Based on the predicted process data,contribute to the definition of the functional requirements of the pipeline system in respect of volumes,pressures,temperatures including corrosion tolerance and calculation of wall thickness using requisite tools.<br />
• Develop pipeline system specifications,e.g. operating envelopes,pressure controls and safeguarding,metering and constraints for operation of the pipeline system. Design the pipeline system for stability and strength against environmental and operational loads.<br />
• Perform option evaluations,and QCs on Pipeline engineering work. This includes pipeline route identification,surveys and selection to reduce environmental impact; design of emergency shutdown systems and special pipeline components,risers and tie-ins; coatings and liners and insulation/heat tracing. Carry out cost estimates for the various options.<br />
• Apply and ensure availability of requisite licenses and permits.<br />
• Provide pipeline-engineering Technical Authority (TA) role for the development of detail design,construction,pre-commissioning and commissioning specifications and procedures.<br />
• Review Contractor’s HSE and quality plans in order to ensure compatibility with Nigerian and Standards and specifications.<br />
• Identify and evaluate process hazards,develop hazardous area classification,and contribute to the development of HEMP documentation.<br />
• Participate in pipeline projects audits / reviews,Hazops,Hazard and QRAs during concept development,conceptual and detailed design basis. Implement recommendations of the Environmental Impact Assessments studies in the pipeline designs and specifications.<br />
• Maintain frequent contact with other pipeline engineers in order to disseminate best practices,work practices and quality control systems.<br />
• Manage delegated authorities of any contracts as per the Contract Management Guideline with special emphasis on the HSE issues of the contractor.<br />
• Collate/prepare progress reviews and financial performance reports as required.<br />
• Coach and mentor sub-ordinates and ensure that all members of the team have personal development plans and also receive coaching and mentoring.<br />
• Participate in SPDC mentoring scheme for young graduates.<br />
• Develop own skills and competence in line with changing business needs and technical advances in discipline. Evaluate and capture new knowledge and learning.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
• A University degree in a technical engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering)<br />
• A minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas operations, of which 4 years in pipeline project engineering and front-end engineering design, and some experience in pipeline operations and maintenance.<br />
• An understanding and in depth knowledge of a broad range of pipeline-engineering systems, tools and practices, and a thorough understanding of project economics<br />
• Working knowledge of of corrosion management and pipeline maintenance practice.<br />
• Familiar with International pipeline standards.<br />
• Good interpersonal, leadership and negotiating skills.<br />
• Well-developed communications skills (i.e. report writing and presentation) and ability to cope with complexity and uncertaintyare essential.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>1. Provide cost estimating input into Field Developments studies, Opportunity and Project Maturation, Plants and Facilities upgrades and optimisations in terms of estimate initiation &amp; planning, scope interpretation &amp; completeness checks, location specific surveys, work breakdown structure alignment, use of estimating tools and norms, contingency determination, preparation and documentation of estimate basis report, cost and cost trend analysis and cost database management.</p>
<p>2. Develop, implement and maintain fit-for-purpose cost estimating norms/models covering high-level screening estimates through to detailed cost estimates.</p>
<p>3. Present all developed estimates for review in compliance with the SPDC and Group standards and correct deficiencies including closing out action points arising from lesson learned from review of others.</p>
<p>4. Participate in opportunity and project audits / reviews, including integrated technical reviews, ESARs, VARs, peer assists and technical challenge sessions to ensure consistent application of SPDC and Group Cost estimating standards.</p>
<p>5. Perform internal and external benchmarking (i.e. against historical performance, industry norms and established Key Performance Indicators) to improve and optimize prepared cost estimates.</p>
<p>6. Develop own skills and competence in line with changing business needs and technical advances in Cost Estimating and keep abreast of new developments, both within Shell and industry.</p>
<p>Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment through knowledge and awareness of and adherence to the company’s HSSE policy</p>
<p>Requirements:<br />
A university degree in Engineering, Science or Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in a project environment in the E&amp;P business. Working knowledge of cost estimating including estimating systems, tools and practices. Good inter-personal and leadership skills. Good communications skills (i.e. report writing and presentation) are essential.</p>

<p>Humidtropics – the CGIAR Program on integrated agricultural systems for the humid tropics represents an exciting and challenging initiative of the CGIAR. It is aimed at improving overall agricultural productivity, and transforming the lives of rural poor in the humid tropics region, through systems research in the framework of Integrated Agricultural Research for Development. The program, which is led by IITA, is part of a family of 15 CGIAR Research Programs (CRPs) designed to address major global development challenges, and is implemented in four Action Areas of (i) West Africa Humid Lowlands, (ii) East and Central Africa Highlands, (iii) Central America and Caribbean, and (iv) Central Mekong.</p>
<p><strong>Position/Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Lead overall Humidtropics communication and knowledge management<br />
Support the development and maintenance of internal and external stakeholder relationships with emphasis on Partners and Investors.<br />
Design, implement, monitor and evaluate communication strategies, plans and campaigns to promote Humidtropics R4D activities and development impacts to target audiences.<br />

<p><strong>Position/Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>The Agribusiness Coordinator will work with other team members to maintain the sustainable supply of cassava roots to targeted cassava starch/gari factories recommended by public-private sector investors to increase the income and food security of small-scale farmers. The other tasks are as follows:</p>
<p>Coordinate the day to day implementation of all the cassava value chain projects. This involves the selection, clustering, mobilization, and training of farmers, identification of efficient service providers, establishment of Demonstration and Multiplication Trials, processing facilities, and organizing field days. It also includes making regular monitoring and evaluation visits.<br />
Ensure that the targets specified in each project are met at the specified time.<br />
Assist in the procurement of inputs (germplasm, herbicides, fertilizer, etc) and their distribution to farmers.<br />
Supervise all field staff and activities in the project States (Oyo, Ondo, Edo, Niger, Kogi, Imo, Anambra, Jigawa etc).<br />
Coordinate the collection of field data and analyses with the IITA Biometrics Unit.<br />
Prepare technical and financial reports periodically as required by each investor.<br />
Assist in demonstrating the economics of cassava root supply using a farmers’ cluster model.<br />
In conjunction with other scientists, develop extension leaflets, scientific articles for peer-reviewed journals, IITA Bulletin, and other magazines/periodicals.<br />
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager and the Director, R4D West Africa Hub.</p>
<p><strong>Educational Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>The candidate should hold at least a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business Management, Food Science and Technology, Agriculture/Agronomy or other related fields.</p>
<p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong></p>
<p>Minimum of 8 years working experience in an agricultural research organization.<br />
Good knowledge of the Cassava Value Chain.<br />

<p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>This position is responsible for managing the Customer Service department and leading the function within the organization working closely with sales, plant, supply chain, IT, finance and other related departments to serve both existing and prospective customers and facilitate efficient provision of the highest levels of customer service aiming to use service as a differentiator for our products, and making UniCem as a supplier of choice.</p>
<p><strong>POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANZIATION</strong></p>
<p>Reports to the Sales Director. <br />
Works closely with managers (&amp; staff) in the Plant (Packing house, Plant Mgr, Quality, Production, etc.) Logistics, Information Systems, ERP system administrator, Sales and Finance (Account Receivables) <br />
Member/ co-coordinator of the S&amp;OP team</p>
<p><strong>MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES</strong></p>
<p>1. Management of the Customer Service Centre, including:</p>
<p>All documentation (physical &amp; on the JDE-ERP system) related to customers – receipts of payments, sales orders, deliveries, invoices, statement of accounts, etc.<br />
All communication to customers (through phone, emails, SMS or letters) regarding their payment and pending order status, deliveries, account reconciliation, requests and complaints.<br />
Be the contact point for the customers for their business transactions with Unicem related issues.<br />
Work very closely with the National Sales Manager (&amp; team) to plan and schedule the loading/delivery of cement on daily/ weekly/ monthly basis.<br />
Work closely with logistics and plant, for them to provide in timely manner (&amp; as per schedule) transportation and loading of Bulk/ Bag products.Provide dedicated support to Key account Customers to meet their specific needs.<br />
</p>
<p>2. Effectively positioning the function to contribute to competiveness of the business:</p>
<p>Structuring, the function, continuously reviewing this structure to ensure ongoing alignment to take advantage of opportunities in a changing business environment.<br />
In conjunction with Career development, staffing, training and development as well as succession planning to ensure continuity and to build a formidable knowledge centre of outstanding service.<br />
Continuous review of business processes to ensure a well developed system of anticipating customer needs [jointly with plants and S&amp;OP teams], planning for them as well measuring our performance against the plans with an aim of driving corrective decisions.<br />
Contribution to the development of organizational priorities to ensure alignment with drivers of customer expectations and any investments or otherwise needed to deliver these. Input as required will include into the Strategic plans, Performance improvement Plans as well as the annual budgets.</p>
<p>3. Efficiency of service delivery to the market and within the business</p>
<p>Responsibility for the customer service operational budget to ensure it is well planned and managed to deliver efficiency of operations.<br />
Agreed service standards with customers and a framework for measurement of the same to ensure corrective action is implemented. Be the OTIFIC (On Time, In Full, Invoiced Correctly) Champion.<br />
Site process documentation and custodian of the customer service manual as well as its continuous update.<br />
Responsibility for review of all exception reports as well as the follow up of matters arising to ensure potential risks are addressed.<br />
Ensuring correctness of Customer master data in our ERP, access control to the ERP for the entire team to address the underlying risks of data integrity.<br />
Optimum allocation of responsibility within the team, including ensuring a well run shift for the front office.<br />
Ensure all customer queries have been addressed and cross functional liaison where necessary to ensure matters are addressed and closed in line with BU procedures.<br />
Liaison with finance team to ensure all customer FI related matters are in order especially the running of the finance team within customer service.</p>
<p><strong>Desired Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p>
<p>A good degree from a recognized University preferably in a Commerce, Accounting or Business discipline.<br />
Post Graduate qualification in a business discipline is an added advantage.<br />
Minimum 5 years experience in a busy sales or customer service environment with supervisory or management responsibility.<br />
Demonstrated interface (cross-functional) management skills.<br />
Experience with ERPs (Enterprise Resource Applications e.g. JDE, SAP)- hands on in processing, reports and analysis.<br />

• Must be alert to unusual items, unbalanced positions, irregularities and long outstanding transactions.<br />

<p>2. Controls and Procedures on “Know Your Customer and Customer Due Diligence introduced to address money laundering prevention and compliance risk.</p>
<p>3. “Guidelines for the submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports” issued by Head Legal &amp; Compliance/Country Money Laundering Prevention Officer.</p>
<p>4. Prompt completion of L1, L2, and L3 reviews as per local/ group policy.</p>
<p>5. Prompt and accurate completion of all risk reports (CRM, KCSA, KCS, KRI and others that will be required, and ensure self and staff achieve required proficiency/ competency, in all mandatory risk training courses.</p>
<p>• Remain alert to the risk of money laundering and assist in the Bank efforts in combating it by adhering to the key principles in relation to: Identifying your customer, knowing your customer, reporting suspicions, safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to customers. <p><strong>Role Summary/Purpose:</strong></p>
<p>As part of the Sales and Project Finance team across Sub Saharan Africa (SSA), this role will support GE industrial business’ growth with sales finance solutions. The financial product and structures will vary widely across the industries of Energy, Transportation, Aviation and Healthcare; products will include trade-finance, leasing, asset-backed lending and project finance.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong><br />
- Embedded with GE Regional Sale and Project team, closely work with field sales force including distributors leads project finance/PPP and development structuring for SSA and drives order growth through co-investment and co- development.</p>
<p>- Support GE engagement under the various country strategic agreements (MOU &#8211; Memorandum of Agreement)</p>
<p>- Develop close relations with a network of regional/local banks/financial Institutions &amp; Investors and build a range of finance solutions</p>
<p>- Originate customer and project financing opportunities and initiate structuring of financing solutions. Lead the underwriting effort pulling in expertise from the broader SPF team.</p>
<p>- Analyze Credit and Market risks, lead the preparation of external documentation (Information Memoranda) and internal documentation (pricing models, credit requests and board papers); provide useful market intelligence for decision making, structuring and pricing in order to win transactions and clear market in our role as financial arranger.</p>
<p>- Lead projects independently. Lead the underwriting effort pulling in expertise from the functional teams in tax, accounting, legal and operations. Advise on and structure transactions where GE is taking direct risk; either on corporate or project finance basis.</p>
<p>- Minimizing GE risk exposure and track GE off balance sheet risk exposure opportunities in the afore- mentioned region to boost GE sales.</p>
<p>- Leverage GE SPF expertise (ECA &#8211; Export Credit Agency, Project &amp; Structured finance) as well GE Specific products and investment vehicles</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications/Requirements:</strong><br />
- MBA/University level degree and/or GE FMP graduate</p>
<p>- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, and a minimum of 3 years in credit and risk analysis in a leadership role.</p>
<p>- Background in project finance/project development advisory</p>
<p>- Deep project finance skills required</p>
<p>- Strong Modeling, Credit and underwriting skills required</p>
<p>- Experience in developing/financing of complex multi-party infrastructure projects</p>
<p>- Strong Project Management and integration skills</p>
<p>- Ability to develop and underwrite business models, working with developers and with risk and underwriting teams to obtain organizational approval for development capital and long-term/debt funding.</p>
<p>- Strong knowledge and connection of/with Regional &amp; international Lenders</p>
<p>- Strong knowledge of regional markets and stakeholders (EPC’s, Developers, Local Authorities)</p>
<p>- Experience in market/business development would be a key asset in order to lead market/opportunities sizing and scoping for deal origination purposes.</p>
<p>- Proven leadership and deal origination/execution skills with extensive experience working closely with Senior Management Teams.</p>
<p>- Ability to execute and negotiate small and large, complex deals with different customer/risk profile</p>
<p>- Proven knowledge of one or more countries of the region and ability to work in emerging markets environment</p>
<p>- Strong oral and written communication skills</p>
<p>- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must. French is a plus but optional</p>
<p>- Self-starter &amp; proactive. Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p>
<p>- Excellent skills to work cross functionally</p>
<p>- Flexile/adaptable – able to work with diverse group of people in a matrix environment</p>
