<p><strong>Job Details</strong></p>
<p>Under broad direction, independently applies advanced knowledge and experience, makes decisions on Logging While Drilling (LWD) problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences and meetings to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key personnel of other organizations. Takes the lead to ensure all data presented to the customer is accurate, timely and meets the highest service quality standards possible. Takes the lead to ensure that expected and needed data, including possible problems, are provided to the customer. Takes the lead to provide technical consultation to all of Halliburton&#8217;s clients. These areas include mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, pore pressure analysis, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, the mud system, and BHA dynamics. Ensures the proper testing of all tools and equipment before, during, and after each job. Identifies and corrects operational problems to prevent or minimize service impact. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all required forms, data bases (i.e., service vouchers, lost/damaged equipment, radiation site survey, End of Job Customer Survey (EJCS) report, First Alert Database (FAD)/Correction, Prevention and Improvement (CPI)). Ensures that BHA&#8217;s are assembled as planned including correct make-up torque, doping and handling. Aware of client&#8217;s requirements with regards to surveying procedures. Leads the effort to interface with the Directional Drilling (DD) to ensure BHA compatibility, planned operating parameters are within specification and correct tool face references are applied. Participates in performance improvement initiatives as required by the Company. Ensures all the equipment, personnel, and resources needed to perform the service is available. Acts as a role model in the use of LWD computer software and provides advice and analysis to the client representative at the work site. This shall include all survey calculations, log generation, basic geosteering services and data Quality Control (QC). Ensures a daily LWD report is completed and copied to client&#8217;s offshore and onshore drilling teams and to the MWD/LWD Coordinator. Where required, responsible for submitting an accurate daily cost for the LWD services. Evaluates individual performance levels of onsite LWD personnel. Trains and develops junior offshore personnel. Fosters teamwork among all personnel involved in the performance of the service. Leads the on-site supervision of the Measurement While Drilling process including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation and QC, and delivery of the services. Job role contributes directly to value creation.</p>
<p><strong>Skills</strong> typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, Geology or other technical discipline, or equivalent drilling/rig experience. Requires a minimum of three years as a Field Prof-LWD, Sr. Typical incumbents have a minimum of five years experience, with average experience of 10+ years. Must have successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements. Must have met the minimum competency requirements for the Field Professional-LWD, Sr. Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to standards required. Must possess good communication skills, arithmetic, data entry and recording skills. Must be able to operate, maintain, teach, interpret all LWD sensors. Must possess relevant offshore certificates as required. This is a field position. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.</p>

<p>Continuously assist in reviewing the unit/team&#8217;s activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.</p>
<p>Assist in identifying required resources, personnel and funding to achieve the unit/ function&#8217;s strategy.</p>
<p>Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.</p>
<p>Liaise with individual departments/divisions and provide advice on legal issues arising from contracts.</p>
<p>Review and vet contracts and legal agreements including memoranda of understanding (MoUs) or agreement (MoAs), letters of intent and other related documents.</p>
<p>Research and proffer opinion on any legal inquiries or issues of a contractual nature arising out of the interpretation and application of contracts and agreements.</p>
<p>Ensure that terms and conditions set out in contractual documentation are legally valid, consistent with Etisalat Nigeria&#8217;s policies, rules and regulations, and are in the organisation&#8217;s best interest.</p>
<p>Coordinate with tender committees and concerned departments/divisions in drafting and finalizing tender documentation. Provide legal assistance to tender committees in tender amendment, tender process management, contract negotiation and finalization.</p>
<p>Provide assistance in litigation by or against contractors or other parties arising out of contracts, agreements, or similar documentation.</p>
<p>Ensure the set up and maintenance of a database of all contractual documents and related legal documentation.</p>
<p>Ensure safe custody of all tenders and contracts.</p>
<p>Assist in implementing the unit&#8217;s work programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines.</p>
<p>Assist in planning and managing the human and material resources of the unit to optimize performance, morale and enhance productivity.</p>
<p>Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.</p>
<p>Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.</p>
<p>Ensure adequate training and development is delivered to employees in the Contract and Tender review and management processes.</p>

<p><strong>JOB DETAILS</strong></p>
<p>IT technical support officers monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organization. They may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. Depending on the size of the organization, a technical support officer&#8217;s role may span one or more areas of expertise.</p>
<p><strong>Typical work activities</strong></p>
<p>IT technical support officers are mainly responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them. Individual tasks vary depending on the size and structure of the organization, but may include:</p>
<p>installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;</p>
<p>monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;</p>
<p>talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues;</p>
<p>troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults;</p>
<p>replacing parts as required;</p>
<p>providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;</p>
<p>following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;</p>
<p>supporting the roll-out of new applications;</p>
<p>setting up new users&#8217; accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;</p>
<p>responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;</p>
<p>working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);</p>
<p>prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;</p>

<p>The British Council under its Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme’s (NSRP) is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the organization as Grants Manager.</p>
<p><strong>Position: Grants Manager</strong></p>

<p><strong>Purpose of job</strong></p>
<p>To manage the grant function of the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme in line with the programme strategy, implementation plan and financial plan and to client and corporate standards.</p>
<p>The Grant Manager will be based in Abuja and will be required to travel to the regional offices periodically. The post will form part of the programme support team.</p>
<p>The post holder must have the ability to work in difficult environments, often with limited infrastructure or support facilities. The programme will link closely with other BC-managed work in Nigeria, notably the Justice For All (J4A) programme. The post holder will work closely with the Security Coordinator, Regional Coordinators, Output managers, programme officers and the resources team and will report to the Operations Manager based in Abuja.</p>

<p>The British Council under its Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme’s (NSRP) is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the organization as Resources Manager.</p>

<p><strong>Position: Resources Manager</strong></p>
<p><strong>Purpose of job</strong></p>
<p>To manage the resources function of the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme in line with the programme strategy, implementation plan and financial plan and to client and corporate standards.</p>
<p><strong>Context and environment</strong></p>
<p>The Resources Manager will be based in Abuja and will be required to travel to the regional offices periodically. The post will form part of the programme support team.</p>
<p>The post holder must have the ability to work in difficult environments, often with limited infrastructure or support facilities. The programme will link closely with other BC-managed work in Nigeria, notably the Justice For All (J4A) programme. The post holder will work closely with the Security Coordinator, Regional Coordinators, Output managers, programme officers and the finance team and will report to the Operations Manager based in Abuja.</p>
